Idea for an event mode

It's a little half baked, but I think it has a lot of potential.

Well... here it goes

Nothing has ever been the same since He came to the rift. His followers were given ridiculous buffs to their abilities and given random advantages to where they would always win the game. Everyone has seen the wrath of Him, one way or another. One year has passed since He walked the rift and it will happen again. Flashes of the brutal, one sided team fights, the absurd damage, and the overall hopelessness filled every champion with dread. The purple fog was returning to the battleground once more, but something was different. It wasn't the amount of worshipers nor the increase of power that each and every one had. It wasn't the invulnerable towers, the burning bushes, the Realm Warps, or the Tempered Fates, it was a light. On the fountain of the defending team was a bright yellow light from the heavens. All that could be heard from that point was the clash of every possible sound effect in the game. And a chant the echoed throughout the entire map.
