Game Mode Idea.

Maybe a quirky idea, but a game mode which incorporates in some way, maybe along side other things, removing the unique status of items. What would you call it? Maybe a game mode which switches to settings or items from previous years? That would hit a decent nostalgia for many I'd guess.

Haven't a clue what it'd take to do that though.
