Now that we have Lifetime Upvotes. Give us Lifetime Downvotes

Considering the most likely goal with lifetime upvotes was to subtly encourage positive behavior on the forums, I don't see why they would add something that basically does the opposite.

Then again, lifetime upvotes will probably just encourage more Riot-hate circlejerking since that's probably where most upvotes come from anyway lol

What usefulness do you feel Lifetime Downvotes would bring to the platform? In certain communities (GD comes to mind) there's already a certain level of personal achievement for posting heavily downvoted threads; I would be concerned that a Lifetime Downvotes statistic would exacerbate this issue and potentially even spread it to other boards.

I just don't see a value-add in this particular metric, especially when considering the fact that people can either use it as a form of achievement or be sad they have so many downvotes. What do you think?

You need a stronger argument than that, and I can honestly see nothing good that would come out of this. It would just encourage us to be jerks to each other, not promote being positive and whatnot.

You do realize this would only entice toxicity, right? There are people who are proud to be humongous assholes and would wear it with pride, like a medal.

Lifetime X-votes serves the same thing Champion Mastery does. Which is completely nothing.
