When we're logged in, Replies are just blocks that are only connected to each other if they chose to quote the other person.
Log out though, and the comment appears under the one it's replying to.
Why is it that I'm encouraged to log out to follow the conversation?

DrCyanide2 votesIn that case, can I suggest putting an icon next to that link that looks like what it does? Some indented text blocks for Discussion View and some text blocks one after another on Chronological? That would probably encourage people to click the random link.

But it's also true that it took me less than an hour of looking at the board to figure it out.

I don't typically look for a setting for a feature unless I think it should be there. Maybe my past forum experience has been too limited, but it didn't occur to me that there would be an option to toggle between the default view and another.
Eotw1 votes"Chronological View" is another name for "Classic View". In other words, it was the old format.
You mentioned you saw two different views. That should have been a dead giveaway that there was a switch somewhere :)
