Saving Post Body from Deletion

I just spent a good 20 minutes typing up a discussion, then I switched tabs for a second, then returned and pressed backspace. It backed me up to my last visited page, as you'd expect, so I pressed forward to find a completely blank template for creating a discussion.

On practically every forum I've used in the past couple years, if I accidentally left the page by pressing Back in the browser, I could press forward and be presented with the post as I left it. Why don't we have this feature on these boards? Even the old forums here had it.

Because Riot decided 'live pages' which continuously load content were a good idea.

(I really disagree. They seem terrible.)

Eh, I understand where you're coming from and why you'd be potentially upset that due to a little mistake such as backspacing accidentally would result in the loss of your work, however, seeing as these forums use live pages, that's one feature that wouldn't be able to be re-implemented.

I personally just type everything out on either a google doc or word document prior to posting to ensure whatever it is a type is guaranteed to be saved. I really recommend you do so if you haven't yet, as you won't run into this issue again.
