[Feedback]Post Formatting and Navigation

1.After reading the stickies, looking in the help & support, and starting this feedback thread, I finally found the Formatting Guide. I can now finally type in bold

• make lists
• and
  enter line breaks,

but it is really confusing. In fact, I had to click the formatting guide about 5 times just to do that simple series of formatting. I'd much prefer the ability to use commands such as <br>, <b></b>, <li> or even better, some actual buttons.

2.Put a link on the right-hand side by Communities that returns to the main page. It is much more intuitive to go to one spot for all your navigation needs then to have to click Community at the top of the page.
