There seems to be a mixup with content removal

I received a notification that I posted something in the wrong board and it was removed. I was naturally curious, as I hadn't started any threads on this board yet. "My" post that was previewed at the bottom of the message was not mine at all, but posted by someone else. In fact, it was a post that I had responded to, telling them that they posted in the wrong board (and I believe I reported the post for being on the wrong board). Going to the thread in question, I found that my response had been deleted, leaving the off-topic thread intact. I'm rather confused about what happened and was hoping someone could enlighten me.

The thread in question is here: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/memes/EoJ1hA9F-where-is-it

It sounds like you made a comment in the "where is it" thread, and your comment was removed. Then your notification you received was that you posted something in the wrong board. The reference was to the discussion you mentioned, not to your comment within the discussion. Is that correct?
