Filter Issues

Is there a way to get the filter tweaked so as not to auto-censor parts of longer words that happen to be spelled with things on the filter list? Not only is it annoying when it happens, but it draws unnecessary attention to the slur itself once people try to figure out the intended word and which letters are being blocked. Not to mention it's only a matter of time before one of the 3-character combinations is auto-generated as part of a Youtube link or something causing technical problems. Perhaps hack it a bit to require white space before and after(or punctuation after) the word for it to be filtered so as not to interfere with legitimate words?

Yes some people might use this as their means of saying things through it, but they already have plenty of other ways of doing that. We have the report button and moderation to react if someone is ever using it maliciously.

Finally, I might recommend removing just a couple which do have legitimate uses. Again, reports and moderation for people who would abuse this and put them in an offensive context.

You have the abbreviation for "focus group testing" on the list. A word for a crack, generally used to point out a weak spot among a chain or piece of armor. (EUW forums only) their word for cigarettes. Word used with "___ and span" to refer to something spotlessly clean.

People looking to be offensive will always find a way. We can deal with those people as they come. Censorship should never get in the way of a legitimate conversation. Let's get this system improved to a point where it won't interfere.
