Feedback: Deleting posts sucks

The way off-topic threads on Boards are handled (deletion) is harmful to the community. It forces new posters to learn by tough luck, a behaviour that would border on toxic if it happened in-game. This happened the first time I ever posted on Boards. It punishes people who post correctly for a mod's hastiness or misunderstanding. This happened to me today; I reposted with clearer wording and hopefully it'll stay up this time. Any comments on deleted threads are lost in time, like tears in rain.

One thing I have never done is intentionally post off-topic; I'm sure I'm not the only one. Yet I've had two threads deleted (15% of my total output). A more helpful system would punish intentional offenders, help noobs learn from their noob mistakes, and allow room for erroneous or accidental takedowns. You can do better, Riot. I believe in you.
