We should be able to see others' status messages on the forums!

I just think it would be a cool idea, like when you hover your mouse over a summoner's name on their post, at the bottom of the little pop-up you can see the status message they've entered in the PvP.net client. Do you think this would be a good idea?

As neat as it could be, many people use it to actually send personal messages to their friends, or they may have had a bad day and set it to something negative which they don't really want other people to see. It's kind of like a privacy thing that you only share with people you're friends with that you don't want others to know about.

If you want to do something at the end of your post to show your PvP.net message though, go right ahead. Something like this, maybe?

I think that would be considered a 'signature' feature, which would be pretty cool! Low on the priority list though, imho, because one could simply type it in themselves for now.

The thing with signatures is that they clutter the space. Ideally, it shouldn't be necessary to use a signature in order to differentiate yourself from others.

I'm not saying signatures are necessarily a bad idea, but it's definitely something that would need to be tossed around a bit before implementation.
