[Suggestion] "X new" Comment ticker on previously viewed threads

Hi all!

I decided to try the "X new" comments button that appears on threads you have previously viewed but have new comments since you last viewed them. And what I experienced was odd, or at least not what I expected. Instead of just having all of the comments open and taking me automatically to the new one, it took me to the thread and only displayed the new comments. That's it, just X number of new comments. At least in my opinion this is no where near how it should work.

I believe it should work similar to how the "Go to comment" link does when viewing these new comments. It should take you to the first comment that is new, highlight in that yellowish color, and highlight the others as well. Maybe even a new comment tracker thingamajig (<-turns out that is an actual word) that gives you forward and backwards navigation between new comments on that thread. A feature such as the navigation would be mostly beneficial to heavy forum goers than the average user, but would be pretty nice as well. Pretty much just highlight the new comments instead of displaying only new comments, maybe some basic navigation with it as well.
