Why can't I post on the League forums?

I can read threads on the league forums but I can't post or reply. Instead I have to use the boards beta to post, which I absolutely hate. Maybe I'm missing out on something?

They were made read only now, because Riot wanted to shove this incomplete garbage down the communities throat.

Boards replaced Forums. Forums are no longer in use, therefor you can't use them. They're just there to look at.

This entire level system is beyond stupid. You can't level up to post, because you can't post. They're all set too dang high. I had to google just find this one....

That is sort of a dumb thing you have to do. Because it makes new users scour the internet over how they can just reply to a comment, were by the time they get to the right level, they might forget about the thing they wanted to reply to or ect.[zombie-brand-facepalm]
