Why Not Have A Rioter Whose Job Is to Communicate Through the Boards?

And that would be mostly all they do. Just go to meetings from other teams, learn what's going on, and talk to people on the forums.

Some players expect team leaders to stop what they're doing and come to the boards to explain the purpose behind what's going on (such as why X skin is being made and Y isn't, or the context of this buff and that nerf), but they don't have the time for that especially when the question has been asked and answered elsewhere a thousand times already.

Relevant.

I completely agree. It's unreasonable to expect developers to simultaneously create things, develop communication plans, follow through with those plans, be available to the community constantly, etc. I think Player Relations is trying to help with this sort of idea, but it's definitely still struggling.

Sam Walton, The person who started Wal-mart, a company worth trillions of dollars today. He was one hell of a busy person but he put more time into talking to people every WEEK. Riot is known to be a very selfish company so their is a very low chance that this could be possible.

It's expensive to hire people for a pretty trivial job like that. Especially because they would have to have a ton of knowledge on every topic to do their job properly.

Riot is already pretty active with the community compared to most companies and to be frank, I'd rather see Ghostcrawler and Meddler and Ironstylus on here talking about stuff they're working on, rather than see "Person X" on here as a mediator.

Isn't that the job of the QA Analysts (like Katey)? Or am I mistaken?
