Pretty much, lots of the times when i make a board post about a champ, i'm salty because of how hard they counter/killed me, In these posts i state my opinion and ask what people think... yet it still gets downvoted :I they could agree/disagree in comments but idk about downvotes. I also made a post about hitboxes not matching graphics... it gets downvoted even though it is an actual issue :I just a slight rant since i'm slightly salty from getting downvotes on posts that ask for peoples opinions, not downvotes.

Well there are some trolls out there on Boards that just downvote everything and there are also some people that when they see the word "nerf" or buff" they instantly downvote

tru, the moment i see a post bout morde and rylais i have the urge to downvote, but i read it 1st(i play morde) but i swear to god, if i see one kindred nerf post, that things gonna get downvoted for sure XD. i'll still read it n all but y'know.

People let you know what they think of your post/situation with up votes and down votes. Clearly if a post is getting downvoted, people don't agree with the opinions inside. That's the whole point of the up and down voting.

yeah, but people that upvote/downvote and don't comment is pretty annoying. (like having say, 5 downvotes and 1 comment).

Getting downvoted in memes and games for making a meme about Kindred's gender sucks because it doesn't even have anything to do with post quality, it's just that people instantly downvote anything that uses a pronoun other than 'they' while mentioning kindred, even if it's referring to something else.

Also, 'it' is a pronoun that refers to inanimate objects, since I used it with the word 'Kindred' in the same sentence, I'll likely be downvoted into oblivion

yeah, a meme about kindreds gender is fine, except it;s kinda hard to tell, cause it's two people, pretty sure wolf is male and lamb is female. memes should be either laughed at or left alone XD

Thought if you were not gold and above you are bound to get downvoted in gameplay unless you're making a thread praising Yasuo and Riven, or belittling Lee Sin.
