Need a New Forum Report Option: "Report for Trolling"

There are plenty of trolls on the forums that get to continue doing it because there is no repercussion. They sit just on the edge of breaking the rules so they can't be reported. They are pretty obvious, so stacking up Trolling reports from different people could flag them to get looked at by a moderator for bans. Please add this so they stay in GD or go away entirely.

Doesn't most trolling fall under offensive, spam, or harassment anyway?

Or if the troll is starting their own threads, incorrect board usually suffices if they're not posting an actual topic.

The ones who are persistent realize what is getting their posts deleted and adjust to compensate, then never go away again. Pick a troll and look at their history and you can see that they have been doing it for a very long time and their posts simply stopped having racist/homophobic or otherwise harsh insults, and they just start being annoying or spewing nonsense.

The only think you hook is yourself in the eye. You never have a comment that makes sense and never have a factual argument. Looks like everyone else is saying that there are already options and that trolling is too vague. The only thing you have to say is " snark looks like i got a troll who calls me out so its annoying snark snark" i know you get picked on it school but relax bud .

Also, considering how obvious this guy is being, you could report him for harassment for feeling the need to respond to everyone who dared to comment on this thread. At least half of his posts are coherent, he did make a good point in his own original comment, but he's laying it on a bit thick with the mass commenting.

Well, if I failed a math test, the teacher would tell me to study but wouldn't call me a child and call me butthurt when I visit their office to see what I can do about it.

I don't really care about the specifics of trolling. Most of what is identified as trolling usually falls under some sort of harassment or spam in my opinion, but others disagree and wish for more reporting options. More power to them, I welcome them sharing their ideas and whatnot, I just felt like giving my two cents on the matter.

What is the point of this report tho?

Some people just post for their happiness to get down voted. Why would we bother to implement such unnecessary measure when resources could be used on some other areas to improve gaming experience?

I mean, i barely see Jiberamu/Pallyclark/Genuwhine sprouting non sense anymore.

I don't see trolling that isn't offensive, spam, or harassment as bad. I mean a ton of the posts directly violate the "Don't be a jerk" rule, and they don't even bother to remove them.

Thats called intentionally feeding or assisting the enemy team. "Trolling" doesn't make sense. I could say you are a troll for picking x champion for the first time should you be banned for that?

for example last game had a yasuo that actually got a couple kills so it wouldn't look like he was feeding but it was obvious from what he was saying in chat and how he was acting in team fights he wanted us to lose well i can report him for feeding but it dose not look like he was hardcore feeding more like he was just having a bad day but if you watched and read the chat it was obvious he was a troll (and if you pick a champ for the first time in ranked yeah your a troll)

ive never said picking a champ that's not normal is trolling but playing a champ for the first time in ranked is and doing dumb builds like ap garren or xin is

You could but then again its a versatile word which people vaguely know the meaning behind. For instance I could say you are "trolling" for making this post. I could report people for making threads about champion balance because i see it as "trolling" . You cant have a word in place that is not even a word. Unless you are going fishing and these kids are legit trolling in that case good luck catching all the bass.
