Mobile boards problem

Ever since the boards were updated to have the notifications along the top bar instead of that little profile icon area, on all mobile devices I have tried, I cannot see any notifications. Since I usually check boards on mobile I would like a fix for this. Hope this gets seen.

The boards are pretty awful on mobile. Riot said they are aware of this and that it is something they want to fix.

I have been waiting for over a year now and still nothing.
