[Boards Feedback] Can we please revise the system of reporting bugs via Boards?

The current setup of reporting a bug, whether client/gameplay/etc., is very disorganized and unresponsive as of right now.

Issues:

  • Lack of format (very rarely is the pinned formatting post followed, for the post or the title)
  • Lack of feedback (there is almost never a response or any type of feedback given to a report that is acknowledged, leading to multiple posting)
  • No distinction between personal and public bugs (many of the posts are personal client bugs that vary per player, almost constituting as a Help&Support post. There is no way to discern between those personal ones and game-wide bugs that affect all players)

Possible Solutions:

  • Forced formatting. When making a bug report post, the default option should be a premade template that has blanks for the labels (in both title and post) or small descriptions of the parts needed to make the post. The templates could be 1) rotate-able, meaning you could switch between ones for personal bug/public bug/gameplay bug/client bug/ etc. and 2) optional, meaning that for the bugs that don't fit under a describable template there would be an option to do a normal written description like we have now.
  • Visible feedback. I feel like this is a very simple solution to implement and use. In front of the post title, display a small icon indicator for 'Post Seen' and 'Bug Fixed' by a Arbiter or Rioter that can be added (by the Arbiter or Rioter) whenever the respective event occurs. That way the poster and other players can have a response that doesn't require a full time consuming comment which would also prevent reposting/multiple posts on a single known bug.

Any communication on changing the sub-Board would be appreciated. Personally I've been struggling to get a Kha'Zix visual bug noticed for over half a year, and have felt guilty with reposts and not being able to properly display the bug.
