Chronological View

If someone else is using discussion view, I can't see who they're replying to or anything.

Can there be a feature added that, if someone is using Chronological View, it shows who the person using Discussion View is replying to? Forced Quoting or something of the sort, that only shows up if they're using Chronological View. I feel pretty left out of the loop trying to use it, its a tad lame.
