Is there anyway to PM someone on this website? I've got some questions I'd like to ask Riot staff about fan creations, but unless I sound like I'm trying to take the light away from someone else's discussion, there really isn't a way to talk to someone.

No, there isn't any way to message someone through the site. The way I usually poke someone from the forums is by adding them from the client.
