Our own profile idea (and some other stuff regarding it)

The idea comes from M Schumacher, a GDer. He says:

Ability to upload our own avatars without using FEK Signatures (even without images would be fine) Ability to quote showing original post instead of a generic quote wrap Black listing Customization for our profile's

I thought about it and wanted to elaborate on the idea. First off, I want to say this would be very cool. Probably exclude the upload our own avatars. Otherwise, having a PM system and our own profile so people can leave messages on our, I guess you can say "bulletin board" would be very cool! We could also have a background of like our favorite champion/skin. The idea is great, to be honest.

Now, what I really wanted to bring up with this idea. Which I think deserves it's own thread is the idea of being able to tag people. What I mean by this is like how you can do @SomeonesName on Twitter and they get the notification. I think this would be a great improvement and it pretty much becomes something unique to the forums(I've never seen this on a forums).

Since you have said that you built this using popular community sites or something like that, I think these changes are most appropriate to add onto Boards.
