for rioters why cant we discuss politics in miscellaneous?

Why can't we discuss politics in the miscellaneous section of the boards? Miscellaneous is meant to be about whatever doesnt fit the other categories so you cant say its off topic. Its not really inappropriate (meaning it doesnt really take someones innocence away if they see it) so theres that. Yeah it can create strong differences about people but if people dont want to engage in politics, dont read/post political subjects on the forums. And even then, there can be some great, healthy conversation about politics. it just doesnt make sense to me that we arent allowed to post about politics. it is miscellaneous after all.

No. it's a heated topic. Why not let people talk about Christianity vs Islam? Abortion vs not? Death penalty?

it's not the place to discuss that. Go elsewhere. I'm sure there are plenty of political forums.

You'll want to review the Universal Rules. They clearly state under Inappropriate Discussions that political posts are not OK in the Miscellaneous section.

The Boards as a whole are for the discussion of League and things relevant to League. Discussions about politics are better suited for forums that focus on that topic as they don't, in general, apply to League.

You need to take a moment step back and think about who plays league of legends, These arent your A game kids, they are people who have been picked on in highschool, and they basically get butthurt over anything. Its why riot makes it nearly impossible for you to legally butthurt someone on their game. After being banned on a couple accounts I learned to just say Hi and Bye and AFK and Help etc.
