[IDEA] Is there any way you guys could add .xlsx to the list of allowed formats?

I had a really cool statistical analysis of champion base stats that I wanted to post up for feedback before I start running DPS calculations with it, but these forums don't accept .xlsx attachments. I would post it on GD, but I find that on GD the amount of attention a post gets is not at all correlated with the amount of work that went into it.

I tried uploading the file to my Google Drive, but it broke a few of my statistical metrics and ruined all of my conditional formatting, which was the only reason my spreadsheet could be analyzed without eye bleach. You can't actually find the data you want without it when you've got 120 champions (and some multi-form champions who gain stats)+five number summary+some extras in the rows and different measurements all the way to column AT.

Could you potentially add support for .xlsx attachments? And until you do, does anyone have any ideas for workarounds to allow me to show off this sheet?

I second this motion. I want graphics. Graphics with information. Infographics. Plus it's just solid functionality, especially for those that like to engage in number crunching posts and champion creation.

As an engineering student: GAH EXCEL COMPATIBILITY ISSSUES!!!! They're the worst!

But on a serious note, yes this would be great and something I could see myself using as well in the future.

Yeah, compatibility issues are a massive pain. I got Office from a family package, and at the time I didn't think at all about posting anything anywhere since all I really wanted was Word and Powerpoint. Now I started using Excel to do this LoL stats thing, and I want to post it up, but even GD doesn't take .xlsx-it only takes .xls, and that breaks all my formatting.

I can tell you that in regard to base stats, Riot actually did a really good job of limiting outliers (using the 1.5 IQR measurement), and most of the outliers have really low stats that are balanced out by other effects (for example, Heimerdinger actually has 0 base regen plus +0.6 per level, but that's because of his passive aura).

Hmm...just tried PDF and wasn't happy with it at all. I guess I could try doing some graphs, saving them as jpgs, drawing the stuff I want to point out onto the graph, and then uploading that. I'll see if I'm happy with the results there.

Yeah I've used Excel only once before in something league related. I mapped out the damage scaling of different variants of Feral Flare when it was still a problem. Wanted to see if exponential scaling could possibly have helped. I simply uploaded the graph. Most people aren't interested in the spreadsheet and the exact numbers just the visual output.

Best of luck!
