Upvoting and downvoting should be changed, they don't encourage diversity.

For one, bandwagon voting is ridiculous. It's literally the first person that votes who gets to decide how well the discussion goes most of the time.

Disagreement should be expressed in comments not through a quick burial and as people disagree or agree it should be shown to a wider audience to attempt to get points from the other side of the argument.

Please, just change the upvote and downvote system you ripped off Reddit (which has its own ways of stopping these problems) and replace it with something that makes discussions worth reading if they're met with disagreement, like a constructive-non constructive vote (of course memes and games will have a different standard for constructive and non constructive) to allow people to best show their opinion, and allow Riot to find discussions that aren't just "Rito pls thing the community wants but we fail to explain it clearly, or at the very least kindly"
