Man would I like to ask some better player who seem helpful questions now and then, but there is no private messaging feature that I can find.

Daen1 votesI'm a little confused as to what you're referring to; is the feature you're requesting a private messaging feature on the Boards? If so, this is easily one of the most requested features by the community so you'll find a lot of support there.

Daen1 votesWhile I appreciate you insulting me while I am agreeing with you (sigh), I'll explain why I was confused. People constantly post in this board with things completely unrelated to Boards Feedback, and comments like this have popped up before that are asking about in-game functionality.
Your post was relatively ambiguous, and the fact you mentioned better players made me think you might have been referring to functionality allowing players to connect easier within the client. Clearly I was mistaken.
