why cant reds post more often? like confirm a bug so people can stop making threads about it. if they posted on a kassadin E bug thread and said they will fix it, they u wouldnt see multiple kass E bug threads. is it really hard for a red to just look at the main board page and just respond once?

im not QQing or anything. just confused and want to know why .

Just my opinion, but I think it's for a few reasons

  1. The incredible number of threads posted every day (especially since some people don't use the right board).
  2. They've gotta be careful when writing something as reds. Most of the time a threat is already forgotten by the time you've got a bug confirmed and rioters can't just post on something like that if they aren't sure.
  3. There are still many threads they shouldn't respond to. I mean, if you meet a flamer ingame, you'll keep quiet if possible since they'll continue being negative, whatever you say. The same applies to red posts on "OMG FIX YOUR GAME" threads. This thoughts helped me understand red posts, I hope I'm not totally wrong.

You are actually wrong about the bug report thing. Both on the old forums and the Boards, a Red confirming a bug does nothing to curb new threads made about it, and I don't imagine it will change.

i dont care if more people post about it. but something is clearly wrong with u see 7+ threads about kass E ,nidalee E and u see no confirmation yet from a red. at least for the people who care about the champion that see a red is clearly "working" on the situation will be less worried.

you are right 100 pct. but i see reds post in champion concept alot (their favorite place to reply in because no backlash?) so why cant some mods just confirm on a thread that has 45 up votes and say "we are looking into the situation of the kass E bug, thank you everyone". and is it that bad to just take 2 minutes to do that?

so youre telling me, there is a bug related section but no mods who go over the bugs section?

each section has a mod appointed to it i assume. and if there is a mod who regulates the bugs section, he has validity to post in the threads. he doesnt need a programmers approval to see that there is 7 kassadin e bug threads and that it is most likely a bug and not a mistake.

edit: here are 2 riots who have the validity to respond(and have responded before) in the bugs section. Riot Exgeniar and Riot Velocity. so youre telling me not 1 of these 2 reds can just post once every 3 days at least so ppl know whats happening?

I disagree with your premise, but I agree with what you're going for on a large scale. I don't think that replying to an individual thread would be a good idea, as there are already so many threads about everything.

That being said, I'm confused as to why there aren't informative threads that are consistently updated by Riot for the public's benefit. It is likely due to bandwidth, but not having that sort of information readily available breeds distrust.
