This whole non meta report thing

Is something that worries me. I stopped playing non meta but still sensible picks (jungle Quinn, support Galio etc) because people 1/ trolled me all the time 2/ reported me a majority of the time if we lost/I got outplayed. The game is boring now, and I perform worse because surprisingly the enemy knows exactly how to deal with popular meta picks.

Hell, I've had games where I won with a good score and the enemy team was like "you trolled your team by picking X" and they reported me. -_-

If you are an intentional feeder in 3 games, you get 3 games worth of reports. If you pick a non meta champion in 10 games, you probably get the same or more reports. Anyone who is toxic, but not toxic half of the time, may well get less reports than a non meta picker.

Does the system deal with this?

There's no report for not picking the meta. I mean someone could pick something random like griefing maybe, but if intentional feeders rarely get banned for griefing I doubt off meta pickers ever get banned. I play shaco support, I get flamed a lot before the game even begins. I also go like 15 3 and 11 as support and do the most damage in the game sometimes. I also have 150 games played this season as shaco. Yet I get verbally abused by people playing champs they don't even have 20 games on this season, and the season is almost over. I say fuck the meta. Clearly you need someone in every lane, clearly you need someone in the jungle. Aside from that, what champs you actually play should be entirely up to you. Teemo shits all over vayne yet when I have to adc against a vayne and pick teemo, people are mad. People trying to enforce a meta that riot doesn't even enforce is what leads to so many problems. If I don't wanna ADC because I don't like to play ADC champs and all that is left is bottom lane open, I should be able to play anyone I can farm with in that lane, not just a marksman. The current meta is entirely too rigid and enforced by an abusive playerbase that will flame you, dodge, afk, feed, or troll you just because they don't like your pick, regardless of if you are good at it or not. Some people will see you main something and ban it just so you won't play it in the game with them because they don't like what you main. Which makes absolutely no sense because then most people just pick someone who isn't their main and proceed to do poorly with them because.....it isn't their main.

The system labels this as a false report. Happens to me everytime i go Sion mid. Idgaf though. No consequenses for being savage.

If u pick off meta you better be winning and not making a single mistake If u want to end up with half tje reports of an actual troll

If u manage to lose lane ur a trol if u carry game u might stil be a troll

You are not punished for not playing the meta. As long as you know that you are not doing anything wrong that's against the rules then the only people who should be worried are the people false reporting you just for picking/doing something that they didn't like, and to answer your other question yes, false reporters are dealt with accordingly by Riot just like any other rule-breaking offense that players do.
