It only lets you know the first time. After that, you don't know when you're being reported and it's annoying because sometimes I just get told I'm being reported out of nowhere and wanna know if they actually went through with it so I can counter-report them for harassment. I really hope this is added soon, thanks!

Everybody gets reported every once in a while, but if you aren't consistently negative or the reports are false it doesn't mean much; getting notified for every report would just be an annoyance, and for most people it would just mean to them "Somebody didn't like you".
Counter-reporting someone just because they reported you isn't going to do anything. Their reports aren't going to be valid and affect you if you've done nothing wrong, and they will lose weight in their report value. If you report people just because they reported you, you are going to lose value in yours just the same.

Koonta Kintae4 votesThis is a pretty funny thread for a few reasons. But I don't buy the logic that their report 'weight' is lowered. I report on average 2-3 people per match, and I get the an 'unsportmanlike player has been punished' message all the time.
It's also a DIRECT contradiction to the claim that you've been spewing that multiple reports don't matter.
It can only be one or the other. Either reports aren't weighted and multiple report don't matter, OR reports are weighted and therefore fishing for reports from other players is actually likely to improve the chance of a punishment of the guilty party since players have different report weights. You simply can't have it both ways.
I'm of the opinion based on personal experience that reports aren't weighted, so yeah asking others to report does nothing. However, this means you might as well report everyone you feel like reporting for any reason cuz why not. And yeah anyone who even types the word report in game I report, cuz it's pretty much against the rules to type that word and there's a wealth of evidence on these boards showing people getting punished for just that

Multiple reports trigger reviews, but it doesn't affect whether the review results in punishment or not. Only what the review finds in your reported matches matters. Premade reports also do not stack at all. Your confusion may come from not understanding that reports trigger reviews first, then punishment is dealt pending the results; When I say "multiple reports don't matter" I am referring to whether it results in punishment or not, not a review; I have made no contradictory statements on this. All matches reported are flagged for a review whether it's one report or nine.

The use of "weight" in terms of reports most likely deals with whether or not your report will trigger the system to begin a review. For instance, if you've never reported anyone in your League career, but suddenly report an asshat for harrassment, your report has weight and will trigger the system to do a review. On the flip, if you are a troll, and you report every player, every match, your report holds no weight and most likely will not trigger the system into doing a review on players you report. Think of it as the boy who cried wolf. If you give false alarms too often, people stop believing you. The system handling reports and reviews operates on the same basis.
Kinetika4 votesI understand where you're coming from, but if that were a "thing", it would just tilt and already toxic community into oblivion. Riot has a huge problem on their hands with the lack of basic human empathy in this game....making it transparent when others report you won't help that situation.
Also, I know nothing of your situation, but if you're getting reported routinely, you may want to evaluate how your behavior is perceived by others. Then it wouldn't really matter if or when you get reported.

On that note, I've seen people state (being dead serious about it): "No one gets my respect - they must earn it first."
I dunno where in the world such an attitude would be accepted, or even make people think like that, but I was outright shocked by it!
Also, what really annoys me, is how the first thing usually I see in all-chat has changed over the past 3 years from "/all gl hf!" to "/all report [player]". Almost never followed by a reason or argument.
If the first thing people got to say is calling reports on someone, then I silently report them for Negative Attitude regardless (including the reason for my report in the report description - because in my mind, I don't have a valid reason to report someone if I can't describe the reason).
I don't need or want to be told when to report someone - I'll make up my own mind on that.
In a match earlier today, I had a case of this (a flame match between our mid and ADC):

...nuff said. At least it was easy to make up my mind on who else deserved a report for flaming.
Lost R1 votesIf that happened, I wouldn't be able to ever play the game. The hate against me is such an extreme that I get reported almost every game, even from the people who were doing the actual abuse.
