Just because someone dcs, does not mean they planned it to happen.

Did OP mention either of those?

Point is, "My mom called me down for dinner" or "I had to go to school" or "I was late for an interview" or "I needed to go pick up my kid" or any excuse like that is a shitty one. Nobody is claiming those issues are less important than a game of League, but you aren't supposed to begin a game of League without an hour set aside to realistically make your way through picks/bans and an entire game. It's that simple.

And you don't mention the emergency cases. Fire alarm, family emergency, even a simple power outage. Yes, the ones who should plan better shouldn't play. They probably are also repeat offenders and get hit with leaver buster.

The feeding =/= inting stands. Far as I can tell with his reply. He would say someone who is getting towered dive and dying in a solo lane is inting.

OP made a blanket statement about not starting the game if you're gonna need to leave. That's fairly straightforward and agreeable. Why are you assuming some sort of malicious intent?

The point was that there are times when we can't plan for everything. Some things, like dinner/needing to leave should be taken into account when queing. But there are cases beyond the control.

an hour? I mean maybe 30-35 minutes but a whole hour is a bit excessive.

Between queue time, banning phase, champ select, and the actual game, I'd say an hour to be safe. Pick+ban takes several minutes, and a game can last 40 or even more. I said an hour to be safe.

I mean, we've all had games where a teammate at 35 minutes says "we need to end soon, I need to get to class". That's bullshit. You can't queue up for a game and expect a 20-minute surrender.

I was level 2 Elise jg when i was invaded. While this was happening, for whatever reason I disconnected, and therefore could not fight the low health Trundle. I got snowballed hard from that point, and until I eventually caught up to him, he steadily maintained a good 3 levels on me. I was not planning to dc, yet for the rest of the game the Yasuo i was playing with flamed me, telling me the same shit you're saying. I did not plan to disconnect, but I tried to explain myself he would either say "stfu" or "don't play if you're gonna dc." Anyway, people saying that shit is not gonna help people play better, so when that happens, you shoud stfu and be more understanding.

It's very dumb when someone leaves the game in the first 16 minutes and says "I have to go to my football match" or "mom called for dinner". Dcing or your client crashing, net, emergencies are ok things like the first two are just dumb. Leaving after feeding your laner and casting surrender votes when every other laner won and the jungler is decently fed is also just dumb.
