Since when is being salt over having a troll ban worthy?

This is my chat log from a game where i got int trolled by ad ez support, he even said in champ select an in game that he is bored of supporting an since i wanted ezreal he took him support just to add salt to the wound.

support ad ezreal why..... we coulda had a diamond 4 ap ez main.... you took it for support an then going ad then dont que ranked? dont choose fill i choose mid and jungle get jungle mostly poke support fuck you shoulda went on mundo you chasing riven dw i gank him you shoulda focus mundo though let him push shes oom im reporting this ez lol you can get a ban an then be more bored int trolling and feeding i waited almost 30 mins for this que to pop an then you troll it all because you got stuck with support no ult ...... im super mad 30 mins in que to get this troll an couldnt dodge cause promos gl with your 14 day or perm why is their entire team everywhere lol whatever none cause bot fed 20-3 lol No offense by why are you not ending the game when we have this troll ezreal pls report him i Q up for 5 games an i get support 5 times so im going ez cause im bored bassiclyn saying he is going to int ruin the game for his team because he is bored of getting support also i was going to play ez mid so he took ez for support then i had to go jungle i waited 20 mins for this que then this guy....... push an end and report ezreal ty Hopefully he gets perm banned so he can be bored permantly You are whats wrong with the league comminity stop clearing the minions lol wy does money matter if a lost game lol

Pissing and moaning over someone's pick then berating them the entire match has always been ban worthy.

Shut up and play the game and you won't have an issue.

Being salty isn't a punishable offense. Everyone gets pissed off when they have trolls. And a lot of people will even think Riot doesn't work hard enough on it.

What is punishable is you being an ass in chat. Its vastly easier to see chat offenses than gameplay. And each case is based on the player. What they did is irrelevant of the fact you were mouthing off and got served.

Also I call BS on you getting 14 day ban over this one case. Before crying about getting banned, im sure without a doubt that you have done crap before, no one ever gets 14 ban immediately. These threads always try to evade the part that they were probably banned once or twice already, and that is ignoring what you said in this case.

since when they implemented the automated chat penalty system at the end of season 5.

The penalty system goes in 4 stages

  1. 10 game Chat restriction
  2. 25 Game chat restriction
  3. 14 day ban
  4. perma ban

So you've most likely been chat restricted before, if you keep up this type of behavior pattern, your next punishment is a permaban.

Good thing is, if you have shown reform throughout the next 3 months, you'll drop a punishment tier (which means that your next punishment is no longer a permaban, but a 14 day ban). But be warned, your account is treading on thin ice right now, any small rage can get your account permabanned.

I suggest you lay off that enter key for a while, unless its for strategic information.

EDIT: If you didn't know, asking someone else to report another player can count as an offense against you as well. Ask if you are wondering why that is.
