Banned for AFK because didn't feel like doing anything with two trolls on the team

Why did I get banned for being "afk" during a match where two trolls who were supposed to be adc and support. picked mid and top while i was mid and someone else was top and nobody was bot lane. i didn't literally afk i just was running around the map. and I got banned for it? Why. because I don't want to put effort into farming with veigar or a definitely losing effort because we had two trolls in the game. and they are probably in their next match now. and I got banned because i didn't feel like wasting my effort. REALLY? WHY?

even then they literally didn't stay in mid or top they just fucked around like trolls do. what is this madness? why do I have to waste my effort. and now am the one banned.

PLEASE LIFT THIS 5 MATCH BAN OFF MY ACCOUNT. and ban the real trolls.

You should know that Leaverbuster does not punish you leaving/afking in one game. Riot knows that sometimes shit happens, so they built in some leniency into the system. You were punished because you showed a history of leaving/AFKing in multiple games.

EDIT: Also, as you no doubt have figured out, Leaverbuster doesn't just catch people who actually leave a game. I don't know the specifics, obviously, but it's designed to also catch people doing useless things, such as running around the base doing nothing useful, or in your case, running around the map. It doesn't matter that you got a kill and an assist, because the fact that you were punished suggests that you spent more time doing absolutely nothing useful.

You've afk'd multiple times to get that ban. And breaking the rules doesn't justify breaking the rules. I've come to terms with that ideology since I got chat restricted a few times for responding to toxic people incorrectly.

If they do it multiple games, they'll get their's just like you got yours.

I DO understand the annoying aspect of trolls seeming to get away with it, but they do get taken care of, but you can't stop it ahead of time.

Easiest thing to do is just mute everyone during a match with duos trolling, and split push nonstop with wards. You can't be reported for that at that point.

He doesn't get that breaking the rules for whatever reason yields consequences. A few more bans might help that sink in.

I 100% get where you are coming from with why you did it and I would be lying if I said I have not done similar stuff in the past, but riot is getting more aggressive in its rule enforcement lately and as a result a lot of people who are actually the victim of trolls, are getting into trouble because they retaliate in some way.

report them at the end of the game and move on, eventually they will get what is coming to them.
