How are punishments for int'ers handled

I've heard Riot never punishes them due to their system and just had one recently. Was wondering the odds of getting "A player has been punished back" because I've only gotten 1 in my League career of reports.

Clarification: I mean actual ints. Run it down mid, no CS, no kills, trolling/griefing.

Depends , if its a real inting then its almost an instant ban. But nowadays people use the term inting even if you miss a minion. So probably 60% of the player base has no idea what inting means and they complain about it. Once i was flamed by my support that i have only 70cs at 12mins he was like : this ezreal clearly inting 70cs at 12min lel good system rito ty for letting these type of players in my games.... People need to learn what inting really is or what AFK means too. Because its clear that people dont know what afk means xD

They aren’t. Riot doesn’t care about trolls. But if you call them out, then riot will punish someone. Just won’t be them.

For your peace of mind, don't bother checking to see if someone you reported is still playing or not. It'd just get you tilted.

You report it, it gets added to the queue of manual reviews, Riot reviews it, determines whether or not they were inting and either 14 day bans em, or permabans em if theyve done it before. That instant feedback is not meant to inform you of specific players being punished. It is there to remind you that reports do get reviewed, and thank you and encourage you to continue reporting rule breakers. It does not get sent everytime someone you reported got punished, so dont use that as an indicator. You can op.gg them to see if theyre still playing or not though.

Lol their not handled at all. They can int, type afk, you can screenshot it have solid proof of what they're doing and they go unpunished. Its an amazing feature riot added to the game.

the message you're referring to is rare by design, RIOT does not want the report system used for trophy hunting

If a player is legit running it down middle nonstop, the system usually detects that and punishes the account. However, if a player is trolling but not making it completely noticable (missing skillshots on purpose, flashing under enemy tower without a purpose, stealing jungle camps/buffs, etc.) it is harder for the system to detect and they usually dont recieve a ban, as it is looked upon as a "bad game."

I am not really sure, but my best guess would be sort of like climbing a ladder. At the bottom they have all the people who got reported for intentionally feeding, then to get one level higher in the pyramid they have to pass through a bot that like detects their KDA or CS or other variables, and lastly to get to the top it has to get reviewed by an actually riot member since there are probably very few who could get through the bot stage.

I am just going off experience, I had a friend who went 0 / 22 but was actually trying to win the game so they didnt get banned by riot's ban system. While also, I had a friend who was in our 5 queue who got banned for inting because they ran into the enemy fountain a few times as a joke.

I think the only way to have even tiny chance get inting ban is to suicide to turret and enemy team repeatedly without your allies being close. If you just soft int by running around the map and trying to "fight" the enemy every now and then there is no chance to get punished.
