Is grammar an excuse to insta-lock in blind pick?

So, this has not happened to me anytime soon but i have legit never seen this being addressed so i wanted to ask this out into the public for a means of confirmation.

If you Play blind pick and, just for hypothetical example, call top, but mistype and say to for example, there is this one guy who will say "to is not top, so you didnt call" and will insta-lock top and with a high chance end up trolling the game, but this post is not for the trolling afterwards, but for that grammar-snitching. Since this is a question of understanding and not any mechanics (due to it being blind pick) i ask this in the PB boards

is a mistype discounted as a call? or are those people who say stuff like in my example just another form of insta-lockers who can (and should be) reported for unsportsmanlike behaviour?

Well first of all "call" isnt rule at all. In blind pick u are allowed to play any comps. 2 top, 2 mid...

technically, but that creates a very contradictory topic. while it is allowed, riot does in a sense enforce that meta. the singed support topic serves as a reminder for that

Not "technically". It just isnt rule. Riot doesnt enforce meta in blind pick. Singed support was also told by Riot that he is allowed to play it as long as he finds duo ADC who is ok with him leaving lane.

He is allowed. And it didnt carry him to Diamond. He is silver. Used to be bronze when he first appeared on TheLoLHounds video. That strategy carried him to Silver and he is still using it.

This is him. HE was told that if he doesnt communicate with team what he is doing on multiple occassions he runs risk of punishment. So all he has to do is tell his team his strategy and he is allowed. You should really first fully research before talking.

well, then either you are not up to date or are confusing him with someone else, there was a massive debate where he had shown screenshots he communicates with his team flawlessly, and there are also taken screenshots of rioters themselves saying he may no longer use smite and Needs to buy sightstone. that message riot told him was the very reason why it became such a huge topic to begin with, and he still can't do it unless everyone in his team agrees to do so, means if there is even one Person saying no he either does something else or he risks returning to a suspention and other punishments.

It depends on the person really. Maybe they really didn't understand your mistake or maybe they're just being an asshat.

Regardless of which though, you should make an effort to have proper grammar none the less. Just copy your role to your clipboard and then paste that shiet the second you hit champ select.

Pick order trumps call order anyways, there is no way to police call order.

Pick order only exists in modes where you have a pick order. In Blind Pick everyone is first pick.

Oh right. Been a loooong time since I bothered playing Blind. I can't remember precisely what they said, it's been years since they mentioned a supported order system.

I've played enough Blind Pick it would be extremely rare for me to run into someone like that. Most trolls that are that set on playing a role left for Normal Draft.

But, hypothetically, there's no punishment for that kind of behavior. 99.9% of Blind Pick players will see something that looks like a role and accept that as being called, particularly if the player who made the typo corrects it.

The remaining 0.1% would instalock over top of someone anyway.
