The circumstances may be grey, but the penalty is black and white for a reason. People may not like it, but it is what it is. Sometimes it's better to suffer through it in order to report said player, if he does follow through with any poor behavior, such as trolling, toxic behavior, etc.

Though I'm unclear as to whether or not banning intended picks is even reportable. Ah well.

nope never better to sit through it what will 1 person have on your LP if you're not in diamond + ?? only 1 dodge for 3 or 10 LP lost instead of 20 just to see nothing change

So you'd rather suffer potential leave penalties that eventually stack up, just to avoid reporting toxic players that are causing said circumstances to begin with? That's incredibly stupid logic. If a player is being toxic or trolling, they need to be reported, or we get nowhere with it, and the problem still remains.

If I don’t want to play with a kindred for example, it’s my right to ban them.

Riot considers the ban mechanic more important and higher priority than the pick choice mechanic. If you don’t like that, you’re free to move to another game that has mechanics you like.

Not really..

People should be able to play more than one champion. That's the whole reason banning is considered higher priority than picking - you can always select another champion if yours is banned.
