A message to the sudden abundance of special snowflakes out there.

I don't care how your parents raised you. I don't care if they gave you an ego the size of earth itself. If you go 0/20 in ranked and I call you bad, it is not my fault for not ganking your lane. If your lane opponent is 8/0 in 10 minutes, you spam ping me for help for the next 3 minutes, and I eventually tell you to shut up and mute your pings, I am not "toxic". If I die because you didn't ping missing and I simply ask you to ping next time, I am not flaming you. If you happen to be of a certain race, which I could not possibly know, and I insult you for playing terribly and blaming me, I am not "racist". For God's sake, go out into the real world, get a job, and learn to deal with opposing opinions. Then maybe come back to ranked and accept your own mistakes.

I mean...

Aren't you also being overly sensitive if you're set off like this because of a 'snowflake' calling you toxic?

Then maybe come back to ranked and accept your own mistakes.

There is a difference between accepting your own mistakes and letting someone else abuse you for your mistakes. That difference is crucial. There are many players who can accept their mistakes, but someone making a mistake doesn't mean you need to call them bad or insult them.

In short -- sure, there are people who need to learn to accept and acknowledge their mistakes, but there are also people who need to learn to provide constructive criticism instead of destructive criticism, and people who need to learn that not everyone who is having a rough game needs to be insulted, harassed, or shamed for it.

Using racist insults makes you racist, period.

The other points you make are mostly valid.

To the overabundance of tryhard egotists who think a rank in a video game is some sort of badge of honor that means something - I don't care how your parents raised you, although you're responsible for your own attitude, and surely they didn't train you to treat others like garbage when things don't go your way. If you take a video game so seriously that you resort to verbally abusing others because you lost 19 LP, then you have bigger problems to look at than all the snowflakes who are tired of dealing with your shit.

Learn to deal with situations that aren't always ideal, then maybe come back to ranked and accept your own mistakes.

Why don't you just mute them and move on to the next game instead? Who cares about them dude?

I miss the days before "sjw" and "snowflake" became standard retorts. Those days asshats just knew they were asshats and didnt make excuses.

I recall Eminem saying "Look I can't change the way I think, I can't change the way I am, but if I offended you, good cause I still don't give a fuck".

Umm...

you spam ping me for help for the next 3 minutes, and I eventually tell you to shut up and mute your pings, I am not "toxic". If I die because you didn't ping missing and I simply ask you to ping next time,

To be fair, it isn't their fault for not pinging if you can't see the pings. Granted case A and case B might be in different games, if they aren't though problem.

Using racist slurs makes you racist just like using homophobic slurs makes you a homophobe

It's quite simple

May I take a moment to ask why I am being downvoted? I am asking players to move on, stop blaming others, and accept their own mistakes to get better, a piece of advice that seems to be quite popular in this community. The only difference that I can see is that I have worded it a bit more blunt and aggressive.
