Ranked people amaze me.

Mid/late game as a toplaner, I ping team multiple times to play safe and NOT engage 4v5 or 4v? onto enemy team. So I can set up splitpush pressure via minion wave manipulation, then use tp to force 5v4 or 5v3 engages when they send people to clear the pushing minion waves I set up. But all my team does is complain that I don't group and call me stupid or toxic. Really. I don't group? Team lost 2 lanes - I didn't - no thanks to any help from team. But I ward when they forget to. I make the engages and group when it's advantageous to us (like enemy adc ff bot while we all mid) and get us teamfight wins to put us back in the game. How is this not grouping? The minion waves I set up mid/late game get us 2 free towers and win fights or objectives like drag and baron when the enemy goes to answer the pushing wave and I force a engage or tp flank the enemy team trying to 4v4 stall us from doing baron while also clearing a giant wave bot. My tp gives team confidence to 4v4 engage and cuts off enemy's best retreat path. But I guess giving team a 2 for 0 and baron because I split, pulled enemy bot, and tp'd at risk of getting blown up 1v4 if my team misplayed count as nothing. That's clearly not grouping and clearly very toxic play. But when someone with no tp splits off and farms a side lane, there is nothing wrong with them splitting. When someone farms raptors instead of coming to a fight at dragon, that's not toxic. But heaven forbid the guy with tp leave rest of team to set up map pressure and warn the team before he splits. I get caught in a 1v2, buy 10+ seconds for team to 4v3 break base botlane with baron buff and nearly grab a kill 1v2. I get team easy tower plus inhib and they net a 2-for-1 thanks to having a 4v3. But I'm a toxic feeder cuz I split. But adc can overstay with 200hp to steal enemy red vs 5 people charging them and no one to help them escape. They die, it's just bad luck. Or jungler can 1v3 invade enemy jungle with no backup and no vision beyond knowing at least 3 enemies are nearby thanks to minion wave mid and chasing enemy jungler to try to 1v1. Dies 1v5 right before elder drag spawns. Just bad luck there. No poor decision making by our jungler to die 1v5 like that. The intelligence of ranked players amaze me. Especially their ability to get "unlucky" with the same smart plays (like 1v5 invade enemy jungle to fight their jungler) that are repeated a dozen times in one match. How none of that is bad, toxic, or gets told it needs to stop. But you tell a teammate to stop making those plays, you split for a good cause and to give your TEAM advantages and have the safety of being able to tp to help them if needed, and you are a toxic idiot. Makes you wonder how these people even get ranked anything. Like there's bronze 5 people smarter than they are, yet here they sit in gold lecturing you. Too blind to realize that you are the only one who won lane, that 90% of teamfights you won were ones YOU set up and that nearly every other teamfight or skirmish your team lost. That when they take an easy inhib tower, inhib and 2 kills, it's because you pulled multiple enemies away and enabled them to do that. But instead of honor postgame, you get reported for toxicity and griefing. At best, you get told you WOULD have gotten honors if you just weren't so damn toxic - talking so much, telling people what to do (like not 1v5 invade enemy jungle right before elder drag spawns). Cuz apparently a good teammate should let his teammates int away the game doing the same "unlucky" plays over and over again; telling them nicely to not make such plays or suggesting better alternate plays is just pretentious and toxic. Giving good advice rudely one time after being harassed by said player for 10 min for no reason is reportable offense. And people wonder why you don't honor anyone post-game.

There's 3 sides to every story; your side, their side, and the truth. Therefore, this is a pointless thread for anyone to respond to. I hope it helped you to vent your frustration though. Better luck next time! This is what everyone deals with when playing league of legends.

A lot of players push this button called "engage ARAM mode" and they press it when they're tired of thinking about strategy. They also have another button they push when they've missed enough kills that causes them to flame anyone that's playing the game properly.
