Suggesting a better board feedback system?

Hello there dear readers and hopefully a rioter too! So it has come to me that board topics are currently dominated by a lack of communicative feedback and instead people just downvote stuff they disagree on because why not? Hell some ppl create smurfs just to stack the downvotes on someone they dont like even if that person possesses legitimately positive topics. So i want to throw this suggestion out because the current voting system is (forgive my rude speech) batshit stacked on bullshit. Why not make it so you can vote only AFTER you left a comment? Or at least enable us to see who made up and downvotes so we can pm the person and hear their opinion privately if not publicly? I know some people mainly those addressed mute haters will vote this down but give it a thought. Wouldn't it be at least a bit more positive if have to first state feedback and reason and then give your vote? Or at least tie it together so if you vote you are to explain why. It would probably tone the boards activity down a bit (or a lot) but then you don't risk going -25 with 3 or 4 comments.

NOTE: i am not regarding specific circumstances like TC's (threat creator) behaviour or the way of approach or level of troll. In this specific post i solely focus on the feedback system as a whole. Feedbacking riot supports in tickets works that way. You give an upvote but must also state a reason. Why not give the same to players too? So we receive more critics both honest and irrational and can create a better solution/ close the topic more efficiently/ promote ideas better for the concept sections and general talks.

What do you say?

What they should do instead is make it so you can't downvote, just upvote

So that the majority of comments on the boards are "up/downvoted"? I don't see that as a useful method of making people vote more appropriately.

enable us to see who made up and downvotes so we can pm the person

Sure, anonymity can be a problem here, but showing people who they need to harass in return isn't helping, and the smurf accounts still won't care.

actualy I don't see a reason why there should be downvotes on a board. I find they should make a upvote button. and if a rioter read it and decides its irrelevant they should delete it. I find its not to people to decide when something is not important.

Voting is meant to give an opinion in a quick and easy way

why would uprooted / down votes matter anyways.

Popularity isn't going to get you anywhere.

It's just there to boost you e-ego.

Same reasons as what Deep Terror Nami said, in addition to another.

Sometimes you really don't have anything else to add other than, "I agree with this for reasons already explained somewhere else" or "I also disagree with this for reasons already explained somewhere else".

Those are not useful comments that push the discussion, but are still relevant when it needs to be considered that others hold a similar opinion.
