"GG" (PSA)
Games is 0 to 0 kills at 8 minutes. let's say i'm top laner, I make a mistake and am too agressive amd get ganked, as a result I die. I open p chat to say something like "My b, sorry" seeing as I just gave first blood, but just as I am about to press enter, another player types into all chat "GG" I stop my hand, move it up to buttons, and erase my message. At this point I am silent.
O run into this once every other game, wither on my team or the enemy's team. One death, one, without getting a kill first seems to make far too many players seem to give up, just like that. Why? Sometimes These players go further and start bashing me or a teamate after that one death for every mistake. Idk if this is just a silver thing or it is everywhere but I ask that this please stop.
One death =/ game. Two deaths =/ game. Hell, even death 3 in lane is not unwinnable in the slightest unless people give up. about half the time someone on my team says this to me I end up carrying the game. I am a pretty agressive player so early game I test the waters with my enemy laner, somtimes it works and I start of lane pretty well, other times it backfires because I made a mistake or they were able to counter me and i die, these first few moments are not what decides if I am a good player or not. If I die three time, go far into lane, don't ward, and blame my jungler, then It is my fault and I am a bad player, but when I have 2 deaths, play under turret, and three people gank me killing me with slivers of health left, what else could I have done? (Please note this is very simplified and situational)
Point is, saying GG over one or two deaths is annoying, childish, and will distance players from eachother in a match. Please just stop if you do, understand that the first 5 minutes will not give you all the information you need on a player's skills 98% of the time.
TL;DR: Don't say "GG" until a nexus is dead.
EDIT: Okay, So I now understand i is a meme, but if you are a player who says this seriously, everything still applies.
