Question about Dishonorable Status

Evening everyone, question for some of my fellow summoners. One of my accounts was recently 14 day banned and now have to look forward to climbing out of honor tell as some of said. Now I understand you do not unlock chests while you are dishonorable... but I was curious how long it NORMALLY (I know there isn't an official Riot response) takes to at least get over that hurdle. At least then I can still earn something while I play.

I'll admit... I am pretty dang salty on how long I've heard it takes to go from honor 0 to 1 to 2 though... as someone who doesn't have the opportunity to play very often I feel like it's going to take me well over 6 months to just get over that initial hurdle. =\

You still unlock chests while you're Dishonorable, I've been Dishonorable since honor came out, and have unlocked chest during that time. I don't know how long it takes though, I've been at 0 for so long, I just stopped trying to get out.
