Chat system..this doesn't feel wrong

I have no ideea why people think toxicity is a bad thing.There a difference between harrasment and 1-2 bad words:)..I had 2 games,in 1 game i did really bad and this jungler,all game long, said stupid stuff in chat..(idc,but this was harrasment) this was 1 example. Another example is thi..We had a close game,min 25, we grouped, and managed to ace the enemy team..The correct was baron,which we whent to do baron,except that my top(garen) decides to farm instead of helping us..nobody could tank baron, and the enemy team arrived just as we finished baron, and we were really low:)..we lost the game after that:)..well,2-3 seconds and we would have gotten away:)..but,ye, garen didn't listen to the team and lost the game:)..It's not wrong to say this: "well,bro,you fcking lost the game,you are a fcking idiot"

The reasoning is this.The report system makes it,so that you can vent after a bad game..that's why it's so easy to report others.If you ask someone,if they would report a player the next day,most of us,wouldn;t care and most likely would say, that they won;t report them. Your decision regarding reports,doesn;t matter,it's only there to help players deal with a losing game..some kind of relief after a bad game. But,the problem is this, in game,when you tryhard,when you are fed, when you try to carry, and some guy, decides to stop playing,or throws unintentionally the game..ofc you need to vent off..it's very good for your mental health..Holding this in you,well,it's not good:))) Again,there is a difference between harrasment and 1-2 words..a huge difference..and a system like this, can;t make the difference. That's why people see alot of"report x"( you usually see this on the losing team).They need to blame someone and the most important is that they need to vent off bcs a player fcked up really bad.

Another thing about the system.It's very abusable,you will find alot of players here, that purposely try to trigger some players.Why, bcs it's not only allowed, but it;s rewarded:)..Even a 5 yeard old kid can make this happen.Very abusable.Will give an example.I have a friend,that trolled all the way from D3 to Gold 3(60-80 game loss in a row) and he told me that he even got people banned for this:).

Idk if trolls should be punished(it's whatever,bcs both teams can get them)it;s not something that you can cotroll,and it;s fine by me.And Rito should know this,that some things, can;t be controlled.They gave us a good game,with a fun gameplay,but you are taken away all the "fun" and make it a really frustrating game.(not being able to say,"fck you dude.,you lost us the game" it's not ok...we need to have some relief in game.

I doubt the majority of players here will undestand..but i'll give it a shot and post this here.

Tell me how this summary of your post is wrong:

  • It's ok to say mean things to people when I'm mad
  • It's pointless trying to punish anyone because it's not effective against everyone

actually according to riots policies, it is wrong to say that. You can say that you don't think it's wrong to say that, but when the rules and regulations are in place already, its up to you to follow or not follow them. You can disagree with riot's stance on toxic players, but the reality of it is that it won't make a difference. Having a different opinion doesn't mean it's okay to disregard the rules currently in place. Trolls should be punished, yes, (but theres no way to punish them properly and justly without having someone review every individual case) but anyone that blows up on a troll deserves to be punished. You can't control someone elses actions, you can only control the way you react to that person. You have to understand that you don't need to agree with riot, that's okay. A lot of the players don't. But while you play their game, you abide by the rules the best you can, and if you're toxic, you get banned. You can safely vent out loud, without sending it to other players. You can curse all you want in your room. But the second you direct it at another player, you are in the wrong, according to riot's policies. And I doubt they're going to change that any time soon.

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but studies have indicated that "venting" actually creates more stress than it relieves. In short, while it's arguably better than "holding it in," it's still objectively not good for you.

I'd say the Garen in your example would not have lost you the game. Yeah they are making a big misplay by not helping take Barron however, it's equally the fault of the rest of the team for not realizing they are over staying at Barron after the Garen did not commit and throwing the game/ offering the other team a chance to steal Barron.

I mean I've had games where my team wanted to get Barron and I've told them we can end right now there is no point getting Barron and they've still gone for him throwing it and let the other team steal or clean us up after we took it instead of just killing the nexus >.>

It actually is wrong, very wrong. You are personally attacking him for a decision made in the game. Whether he made a mistake in game or not doesn't give you the right to call him a "fcking idiot." It's never ok to talk to someone in this way in any situation.

Venting and verbally attacking another player are 2 very different things.
