Saying 'change my mind' is a horrible way to start a discussion.

Start by laying out your own arguments for why it shouldn't be punishable. Because there are already a lot of good reasons for why it should, which you could easily find yourself.

Whenever someone starts/titles a post with "change my mind", I'm always going to assume that there's no room for discussion because the OP (in this case, you) have already decided for themselves that what they claim is the "right thing" and that literally nothing will change their mind.

Especially when they don't provide an argument to start with. So, lemme ask you, do you actually want people to try to change your mind, or is this a non-discussion where "nobody changes (your) mind" is a foregone conclusion?
