If you see mod behavior that is problematic, you can definitely report it, mention it on Discuss the Boards, or come to the moderation discord. We do look into that stuff when it's brought to our attention, and we definitely do take it seriously. If you do contact us on either of those, let me know. I'll take a look myself.

Edit: I'll also point out that the removal I assume you're frustrated about contained no less than 4 problematic sentences out of 5. If you'd like me to explain further I'm happy to.

The forum mods are not out to get you, nor do they take pleasure in deleting threads..

As Djinn stated, you can report mod behavior if it truly is abusive on their part.
