Downvote Brigading of Moderators who Say Hard Truths

I have noticed that when a moderator says hard truths to a toxic player who started a thread, all the moderator’s posts can wind up down-voted to -6 or -7, especially if they go back and forth. I think that these players are organizing or benefitting from mass-downvoting of the moderator’s posts. Can the moderation team look into this, please, and hold accountable those responsible if brigading is indeed discovered?

Edit: Oh dear. It seems I’m at -1 already. Maybe they’ve come for me!

Who cares.

The upvote or downvotes doesn't matter regardless of who it is for. It's just an expression of agreement or disagreement and no action will be taken based on upvotes or downvotes.

Downvote brigading definitely happens, but it is utterly meaningless. The truth is the truth regardless of if it is +7 or -7.

I also notice moderators being down voted in non toxic threads, like the one where the guy got banned for calling someone a child.

The guy posted again a few minutes ago, and mysteriously every post agreeing with him in the thread is getting upvoted, while all others are being dovnoted.

Sounds like a brigade to me. Ban the account, check the voting records of all other accounts from its IP, and ban the ones that did the upvoting.

Actually for the longest time it has been the other way around. Honestly, seems like every thread posted in player behavior is subject to a lot of vote brigading.

it's because all of the players in here are trying to figure out what got busted in their system lately and why so many stupidly unnecessary bans are being handed out

Yeah i guess. Personally, I couldn't care less. The dynamics of the behavioral system bore me and people only really become interested when they believe they have been wrongly banned. My honest opinion is that the punishment system has been a problem ever since this preseason and it only seems to be getting worse and worse. Everyone just has to adapt or be banned.

But see it shouldn't be like that. People shouldn't have to worry about hurting some butterfly's feelings when they're trying to win the game by trying to get them to play better, which is about 90% of the bans that are up on the boards.
