The hurtful truth about bans

It is maybe known to some i am new to the League of legends boards, so i have been spending a lot of time reading back some of the older Posts and reading back generally everything regarding since new years/the Season beginning. And it might not be nice to hear it but so many people complain about getting suspended or permabanned. So i want to put this to quick attention, because a lot of people seemingly do not understand the degree necessary for the punishment. Riot permabans people out of repeaded appearance of toxicity, cases of very extreme toxicity like giving death wishes and such, possible boosters, Acc sharing and other grave violations of the Terms and conditions aswell as the behaviour rules. having said that, riot does NOT take a point of view for any form of reason or purpose whatsoever. It does not matter why you did it, on who you did it, or when you did it. you violated their rules, so you got banned. There are only VERY few exceptional cases where riot actually did fuck up their bans like that guy who recently provided proof that he was falsely accused of acc sharing because he screwed up his IP changing, but that was as mentioned AN EXCEPTIONAL case. Most people are banned because they rightfully screwed up, and while it is understandable that many of you got toxic because someone triggered it in you, be it a troll or a inter, you still were toxic regardless. and riot does not sympathise with These reasons. toxic is toxic, so punishment is punishment. i too get toxic here and there, it happens to the best of us even. hell, faker could get toxic if the conditions are met. But he, just to make an example, would get equal punishment as everyone else.

If you were permabanned, then riot has surely notified you as of why you were banned, and often you do not feel like it was worth a ban, but how you feel is not decisive for the punishment itself. You were banned, it means you violated the Terms enough to be considered worthy of that ban, be it through how extreme you were or how often you misbehaved. Learn from it, and either better yourself or simply dont Play the game. Riot is not perfect but they are strict, everyone knows it, so you should not act surprised when they simply execute what they have been and will still announce is their proper measurements against such behaviour. having said that, don't go into the boards and complain about "how your behaviour was toxic" when clearly you then get a majority in the comments telling you "yes you were toxic".

i may Sound rude about it but this is the harsh and partly sad truth, if you were banned then theres a 98% chance it was justified, whether or not YOU had a reason to act like this.

im sorry for those who feel offended or hurt by what i said just now but thats simply how it is. you misbehaved/broke the rules, and you got punished for it. Asking how your punishment was justified only wastes everyones time AND basically Outs you to the world as an toxic/negative individual, giving you a bad rep to go with it.

I was given a permabanned without notification of why... I'll tell you now it wasn't because i was toxic of feeding or racist or anything like that. its because i afk d a few matches due to computer problems. then one day i tried to login and was given a tag saying my account was permanently suspended. with no kind of warning. surely that shouldn't be fair.

Not entirely true. I could go out and get perma'd first offense easily if I wanted.
