Dodge a third time. That is rito's and the community's solution to trolls in champ select. If you don't like it and don't want to do the time, don't queue up.

I agree that removing the LP penalty will greatly increase the odds of players choosing to dodge at the slightest perceived weakness.

Off-Meta? Dodge.
Player had a slightly below average k/d/a last match? Dodge.
Teemo? Dodge.

Im not saying dodging doesn't have a place. But it has to have a penalty that has bite, or it will be abused.

then there has to be more severe penalties for players who aren't following the damn rules, hell there are no penalties at all right if you want to go and troll in champ select. if there is someone refusing to play their role (which happens more often than you think) then we should be able to report them. that would at least cut down on these pregame trolls who want to screw with people all the time. add report option in champ select. simple solution.

You can already report by sending Riot a SUPPORT ticket.

Usually they will reply to indicated they will investigated. Is the ticket still open? How long ago did you submit the ticket?

However, from what I understand, they will not tell you if anything results from the investigation.

Then you need to be patient and wait.

If you can't have the time to sit and have the issue resolved, then you're SOL.

that's like an extreme measure and to be honest it's not worth going out of the way for, reporting them in the client in champ select is much more simple

And that would do what? You'd still have to play the game. So there's not much of a difference between reporting them before the game you'd have to play with them, and reporting the after the game.

if they dodge or you dodge then they're off the hook, I'm saying there are no penalties if you decide to troll in champ select and either dodge yourself or force someone else to. having the option in champ select will at least offer some way for people to penalize these players. a small small minority of people will actually send a ticket in to riot and that's not a legitimate option.

I'd rather them just kick the players out of the game in OP's example. It's much more "toxic" than chat considering it typically leads to "toxicity" in the chat. And you can't just mute it.

i just dodged becoz we had someone instalock aurelion sol as adc, im on downtime now waiting for my 5 mins but riot should really make norms queue like ranked where you get to state your preference ,... i believe it would improve gameplay alot and also there should be a penalty for toxic players the same as leavebuster becoz in my opinion toxic players are just as bad as afk's, it ruins your game. say if you get reported for being toxic by at least 3 people on your team of several people over the course of a day or something just a 10 min ban would help i think

Chuckles, between the god-delusion that is dynamic queue and the time accumulated by me dodging (or wishing I had dodged) such gems as jungle Yasuo, full adc Vel'koz, smite-mid lane Lee Sin and AP (!) Riven, you can take that silly excuse and get bent right along with it.
