Toxicity in Plat 1

For the past 4 days I've been in Plat 1 with 50LP going back and forth between win and loss. I win and carry a 50 minute game, then I get a garbage team that feeds 2-22 bot lane. Next game I get an intentional feeder, then the game after that I backpack the game. Now I'm back at 50LP. Every other game has intentional feeding immature kid. I can recall in the last week I've had 5 games ruined by intentional feeders and atleast 2 others with teammates intentionally throwing the game by going afk. Why is this not cleaned up? I see less toxic shit in gold than I do here. Any thoughts about this, Riot?

It's not an isolated case, every Division 1 is hell, most of the time not really because of the people climbing up Division 1 itself, but the people tanking Division 5 of the next tier.

It sucks.

the results of boosting

I saw a guy that was Bronze 5 last season with a 33% win rate and only played WW, now he's Plat 1 with 66% win rate and plays Jarvan mid

Because many high plat/low diamond players think they are god's gift to earth and can do no wrong.

The fairest way I can describe it is that they probably have the mechanical skill to reach D1/Masters, but in general completely lack the game awareness, premium decision making, and mental fortitude to ever get higher. This results in a 'Never my fault' (Jungler no gank, got camped, mid no mia) when mistakes are made and 'I need to carry turn this around' when losing when in reality, it should be 'I need to stabilize and coordinate with the team to recover'

Edit: Also boosted animals

Its because people are purchasing elo boosting services more than ever this season. People that i know, that literally do not deserve their rank, have purchased the service, and are literally polluting p5-d3 with poor play until they get severely demoted and/or banned. you will literally see behavior that you thought you were good enough to escape from, while you were playing the lower elos in your early years. that includes support main flame. you arent supporting for a team anymore, you are supporting for people that will grief you on the grounds of "i see youre on a win streak" or " why are you a otp support player?lemme ban/pick your favorite support in hopes youll dodge" or "im carrying this game so hard, but youre just a shit support, you havent done anything all game, and even though youre in your last promo game, im going to throw, because i dont think you deserve the win, seeing as how youre a support main". Trust me, this season is the worst. No matter what you do or how much you complain or suffer, youll have to bite the bullet, and hope riot actually does something about it. This season has been the absolute worst for competitive overall, everyone knows it. Just try not to let it get to you, and mute/ignore the behavior(if you can). I know its hard, but just keep going, youre almost d5, dont let these assholes get you down/banned.

I played support in the previous seasons because I am a team player and I understand that helping the team and winning is more important than my KDA. That is why I have a shit KDA on all my champs yet a high win rate. Other people don't understand this. I've mained every role at some point, I've played since S2, this is just a newish account. I'm very mechanically skilled and I am very skilled at teamfights, where my laning is my weakest point due to missing CS by 1-2 damage for the first 10 minutes. Even at that I win lane 90% of the time.

My team doesn't understand objective control, map awareness, teamfight focus, peel, CC, or simply just being carried. Kids will outright refuse to be carried. I'd rather just have an AFK than these kids. Wish I could find a duo that wasnt a shitter, too.

need help/a friend? i know people at your elo that you could play with that are the literal definition of what you just typed about yourself. they play for the team, and are a force to be reckoned with on an individual basis as well.

I want people better than me. If somebody better than me were on my team, it'd be an automatic win. I know I'm awesome, but I'm not the best by far, however I cannot learn if I am only playing with people who are below my skill level. It'd be a good learning opportunity and would be nice to lift some of the weight off my back.

Plat 1 / Dia 5 is the worst.

Been up to Plat 1 92 LP... And tilted in and out of Plat 1 since.

It's not even fun.
