Riot needs to take a hard stand on people asking for reports

There is nothing worse than having a shit game where people accuse you of feeding and ask for reports. Nothing is worse than that. Most players don't seem to know it's bad and/or don't care. Riot has to take a hardline stance on this.

Asking for reports is:

  1. Abusing the reporting system, which is highly abusable already. Should be a huge no no.

  2. Negative attitude

  3. Verbal abuse

  4. Gang bullying

  5. It also really works against people are just straight bad at the game. I promise, if you have 3-4 bad games in a row or are just plain new, you are almost guranteed to get a punishment.

This has to be taken care of sooner rather than later. It's totally easy to have a bad game, get harassed, eventually say something back when it's 4v1, while the team begs to get you banned and gain a report off of it.

i would argue that :

verbal abuse : by asking for a report you've said nothing directly aimed at that individual. gang bullying: unless the entire team is spaming "pls report so and so" it isnt gang bullying because by definition "gang" meaning it has to be multiple ppl involved.

how is asking for a report abusing the report system?please explain

NIne times out of ten the only time i see ppl asking for reports in game is when someone has afk'ed or rage quit. Which maybe unnessacary since leaver buster should pick it up ( thats not always true) but does not constitute any type of harassment what so ever. So ppl will want to make sure that that person is being reported for that afk.

Intentional feeding - ppl will sometimes ask you to reprt for this ( i have) when some ass is pissed cause he didnt get whom he wanted to play, so runs it down mid or trys to 1vs 5 the entire game. Asking for a report here is clearly justified. If you dont, the enemy team is highly unlikely to report them for it just because he gave them a free win.

as far as i can see the only thing you wrote that has any bearing on this is that it could be viewed as "negative attitude"

Riot doesn't actually punish players for having bad games, they punish their teammates instead. And multiple reports in a single game aren't any different than a single one anyway.
