What happened to ARAM and fun trash talking?

I admit, I left the game for seven+ months, I went out of state, - but before I left i remember a few things

ARAM was for fun A little bit of goofing off was required - trash talking - joking (especially if you got the short end of the "random" roll) And even if you got owned, it was still mostly friendly and relaxed, it was ARAM after all not ranked.. a place to blow of steam and teamfight

I come back - and now ARAM must be ranked somehow because people getting pissy cuz you trashed talked the 15/1/34 guy who OBVIOUSLY has been doing well. The entire enemy team gets toxic and name calls and starts going WAY overboard -- not to mention the que dodges because someone got a champ that is not all powerful in ARAM - I mean what happened?

For example -
You : Yea you could have won sooner if you had a Lux (Lux being the 15/1/34 person) Enemy Team 1 : WTF< you useless tool, uninstall Enemy Team 2 : Loser, what a putz just pissed cuz he got owned Enemy Team 3 : F_ ck you a _ hat (the * just made it bold) Lux : Ha.. nice You : Wow guys chill, was just a joke, obviously Lux did great Enemy Team :1 - yea right backpedal af Enemy Team 2 - Yea reported for harassment

While names have been removed obviously the conversation went pretty much like that - Lux was not even upset, it was a joke that they spanked us as hard as they did, and for the LOVE of GOD it was ARAM! -
