"I see people who don't surrender as an honorable opponent;" Is it punishable?

I have a tendency to outright state in chat "I see people who don't surrender as an honorable opponent. Plus, you always have a chance to turn it around." and it, on top of reducing the amount of flame I see in /all, it reduces the number of forfeits too.

Is it a punishable "offense" for me to be doing this, for me to honor people who live up to my standards of what an honorable opponent is?

AFAIK it isn't trading honor. It's a grey line. I give them honor, and publicly state that I will, in return for a better game experience for me (and I assume them, since there never seems to be any flame win or lose) and my team.

If I remember correctly, if you rarely honor, then your 1 honor is worth more than someone who honors alot.

Your honors are worth less xd, but there's nothing wrong with that lol. There's nothing wrong with honoring people.

The whole system is planned to get changed/updated to promote being good teammates/opponents. Hopefully in a way so that it's actually visible, I rarely see honor ribbons. I feel like alot of people just don't honor.

No, it's not punishable. Anyone can honor another at their own discretion.

I'd consider it honour trading. You might not be trading honours 1 for 1, but you're promising to give them an honour if you get what you want.

Whether you might be punished for it or not I can't say; just putting in my two cents.

You are a terrible person, if people want to ff because the game isn't fun when you are getting crushed you shouldn't judge them for it. That being said I would never want you on my team with the weeb never give up john cena bs attitude. Don't ff in ranked but in norms who gives a shit?

I could see people reporting you because it can kind of be seen as honor trading. Not because you honored them but because you mentioned it.
