If you want to fix the community, you have to act also

For all you that want to sit behind your keyboards and let you EP grow large because you think it's funny. I know you all think you have the perfect builds in mind and you all think your EP is 18 inches long (prob compensating for something) and think it's fun to troll. That is fine. I can report you at the end of the game and I do often. I also though DO NOT have to help you win. I DO NOT have to play your way. I DO NOT care about wins/losses in an aram, random. I DO NOT have to help you win in ranked even if I don't want to. This is a game, no one dies playing it. People try to play for fun and enjoy it. Yes, we have a mute button, but this does not fix the problem and reporting only works if people do it (and face it most don't). I never complain about a players build, it's their game, their choice and I can see an obvious troll. Happens, report. IGNORING A PROBLEM DOES NOT MAKE IT GO AWAY. People have to act as well and help riot by using their report buttons. I don't care if 3/4 of the toxic community is perma-banned maybe could get some of my friends to come back to the game when people actually can enjoy it without "you suck", "feeder", "FU", (pick whatever you want here). People who actually want to compete and do better and challenge themselves to "Ranked" play and see how they stack up, don't need to be treated like crap all the time. People have good and bad games, some people actually think you win the game with kills. Some people believe it or not are new to the game and learning. All you do hen you act like this is run them off.

Now, to the second point, instead of making fun of the person who is being trolled, how about you tell the Troll to shut up. I can use my mute button as well as anyone but talking to your team is an important part of strategy also. If 3/4 of the people who say nothing would just say something to the person being trolled, far less people would continue to "feed" or play bad. There is a point that when people work together, they win more games. Riot themselves promote this in loading screens. Stop being silent or think it's funny and then when the person "tilts" that is being trolled, or as we see AFK farms, or whatever else they do, you may keep them on your side. Far more likely to help a team that is supportive vs one that piles on with the troll and thinks it's funny. Again, no one dies if I afk farm, or if I chose to no longer help you, it's a loss in a game, and if the community wants to be toxic and think it's funny, I can be bronze 5 for life and it won't bother me at all. There is no prestige in being a high rank in a game full of toxic trolls, because people will think you bought your account, or got boosted anyway. They will not care about you being Diamond/Plat/Challenger with a community full of toxic trolls because being king of a pile of feces still stinks no matter how you stack it.

Those who like to make fun of builds, should think before you speak. Had 2 games today in ARAM on Lux. We all know how strong she is there anyway, but still, she is a mana hog early. I tend to build a Frostfang (so I don't have to CS and can let my AD toons do that to get stronger) as well as a Redemption and had half of my Luden's Echo and my Magic Pen boots on the first back in both games. Both games I was sitting at about 7/1/14 ish but doing well as I had over 4k gold. Team A (doesn't say a word) end the game 35/8/35 including a pentakill in the game. Team B (starts being toxic, wants to say build right, wants to say build is "shit"). I ask them nicely, please don't start, and my build is AP. For those that don't realize a gold builder is not always a bad thing in low CS area's. Both of those items have utility as well as something Lux needs on them, MANA regeneration. This will solve my mana problems for a while, plus I can help team in process. If you see a person that is feeding themselves, is helping you team push every objective (we were through the first tower) why would you bitch at them about a build. Why do you think you know what they are doing more then they do sometimes. Is a shield/heal and a slow a bad thing? Is someone not taking your CS so bad? Maybe if I was building AD I could see questioning it, but why would you any other time want to just piss off your team mate for no reason, then think they are the "child" because you wanted to push them, they retaliated, not by calling you names back, they just said ok, I don't have to help you anymore this game. PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE TO HELP YOU WIN IF YOUR A DICK. get that through your heads. You can say that's just is bad, but if no one on our team stands up for them, and everyone piles on, why would I want to help you win. I know this goes over a lot of your guys heads, but NO TEAM IS SUCCESSFUL BY BEING TOXIC TO IT'S TEAM MATES. This does not work anywhere in real life and you will find out the hard way I'm sure.

I'm sure those that love to troll and flame people will say just use your mute button. Those can say report them (I do) but I stand by the fact if you want to be a toxic douche, and my team mates don't want to stand up for each other, I DO NOT HAVE TO HELP YOU WIN, and I WON'T. Stay toxic my friends. I always say, be less toxic, win more games. One day some people will actually learn this lesson.
