Toxic Clans

So....Riot has a great idea to help people build teams and to create a little better community. I full agree with the idea and the concept of the creation of clans. They can be a wonderful way to get people together to help with building ones skills, teams, and overall enjoyment of the game. Great Idea and Implementation.

Problem is....now that people can queue in a clan and EVERYONE know there is no Tribunal system anymore and that discipline to toxic players only comes by auto system, what do we do with the toxic clans that bully the 1 out of 5 on the team that is not in their clan. I like playing on my own on occasion also, but to get in a group with a clan that can say, act, and do anything they want to bully someone and there is no way to correct this behavior since EVERYONE knows the Tribunal is no longer in effect and is worthless, a new toxicity has been created as well. I know you have to take the bad with the good as well, but people should not be able to bully someone just because they can with no fear. I know there is a mute button and I know how to use it, but ignoring a problem does not fix it, just makes it grow. We all know the cyber bullies behind their screens and their tough keyboards, who have to try to talk and act tough in a game are compensating for something. I just figure, i don't have to help them win anymore, I will take a loss....it is a game after all as they like to tell anyone and "take a joke" so...I do....I take a joke called a loss.

Overall point is the idea was great Riot, and I love the concept, however, you just created another avenue of toxicity that since EVERYONE KNOWS THE TRIBUNAL is not in effect and is a worthless threat, they can do whatever they want. Toxicity is ruining this game faster then some of the imbalance changes that have been made (and often fixed) but there is no fear to change peoples behaviors and even less now that the bullies can run in packs.

The system is indeed banning people, and it's banning people for poor behavior in chat.

It has been said by Riot that a single person reporting has little to no difference to 9 players reporting, given that all the players have the same report weight (how much the system trusts them).

So you're right, the "Tribunal" that you mention, the player driven one is not in effect. But the automated system is and continues to hand out punishments based on reports and what you say. It even bans intentional feeding.

If you don't believe that the system does these thing, just take a look at some of these post in this board.

Ok...I accept your statement. I just, as do many others, feel that 1 report is not enough. I know the first time I saw anything happen it took all 4 of us on the team to report the person for toxicity. Everyone was so offended everyone used the report button. Was actually nice, but again.....if the 4 on my team (that are in a group) want to report me...and I get banned and did nothing.....that makes sense. Still no solution to the actual problem that I presented. WE ALL KNOW THAT THE SYSTEM IN PLACE IS NOT CHANGING THE COMMUNITY in fact I see it getting worse and worse.

At least also we are having a civil discussion btw, I appreciate that :).
